赤枠の窓 (akawaku mado) – window with a red frame

lyrics / Hazuki
music / Serina

peeking in a red window. my window.
for you, my dear.
now, step inside, unafraid of the rotted garden.
for you, my dear.

and as the days and hours passed, you changed a little?
my trembling heart hurts. my wretched self will…

“break it”
don’t take it upon yourself to judge just one dream.
don’t be so quick to criticize just one dream.

the voice coming from the other side of the window with a red frame
deep, deep on the other side of the window with a red frame
“gone, gone, gone…”

In Zettai Onkan vol. 65, Hazuki explains that the theme of this song and “antithesis” as a whole is about confronting oneself. “This song is about the weight of words. You can really hurt someone with careless words, you can end up being unable to take them back even if you thought they were just a joke – I wrote this song as a message to myself back when I didn’t know the weight of words.”
