明徳 – Akinori

Akinori (more frequently called “AK”) is the bassist and youngest member of lynch., known for his easy-to-bully and lovable personality.

Birthplace: Aichi Prefecture (technically Kyoto, but raised in Aichi…)
Birthday: November 17th, 1986
Blood type: O

lynch.’s bassist may be known to international fans mostly for his arrest for marijuana possession at the end of 2016, but his sweet, goofy personality is one of the band’s greatest assets.

Akinori was essentially a nameless bandman before being discovered by Hazuki, having played a short stint in a sparkly, bubbly “kira-kira” band in cat ears before transitioning to a more conventional late 2000s dark visual kei band called meth. for just over a year before being invited to lynch. at the time of their major debut. As a fishing enthusiast, Akinori had approached Hazuki at a Nagoya-based visual kei band to discuss the hobby, and was eventually found out to be considerably talented at bass. Akinori’s musical influences are a bit more fringe — while he looked up to third generation Nagoya bands like lynch. and deathgaze, he also enjoys genres like reggae, electro-swing, and goregrind.

Famous for being absolutely worthless at public speaking, the other members enjoy pushing him around as a younger brother figure of sorts. He is often put on the spot against his will, and is frequently half of a rather formidable comedy duo with Hazuki. His alternate personality on the band’s nicovideo live stream, “Cool D”, was known for being almost irredeemably stupid. AK seems to truly relish making his friends and bandmates laugh, which is undoubtedly why he is the source of all the band’s most interesting interactions and lot of the fans’ joy.

Despite not actually being born in Nagoya, AK speaks with an unusually thick Nagoyan accent. He also went to the same high school as Hazuki (although they did not attend at the same time).
