lyrics / Hazuki
music / Yusuke
the wind is singing, leading to the sky
the ripples carry off my footprints
tenderly denying the idea of eternity
it’s goodbye
i stumbled so many times since that day
what did i win, and what did i give up?
something that can’t be expressed with words
something that i alone could ever understand
that moment and that dream are glimmering
the happiness and memories of a day i can never return to
they overlap one another in this moment, in this dream
the goodbye and the warmth of a day not yet seen
the wind is weeping, leading to the sky
the dusk carries off the light
relaxedly denying the idea of eternity
that moment and that dream are glimmering
the happiness and memories of a day i can never return to
they overlap one another in this moment, in this dream
the goodbye and the warmth of a day not yet seen come now
now it’s goodbye, the warmth… ah
On March 23rd, 2020, Hazuki tweeted the following about ASTER: “Since long ago, in my mind, there is clearly a color of the sky, time, place, and scent that are the most heartrending that I can imagine.
I don’t understand where it is, and I don’t have any memory of going there, though.
This isn’t my first time expressing this place through lyrics so it’s not unusual, but this might be the songs that best fits it.”
