ラティンメリア (latinmeria)

music & lyrics / Hazuki

i hate it
I can’t see anything, the light opens the wound
everything is so far away, now i’m all alone

the sky loses its blue in the flow of sparse clouds

i pray to be loved
i pray for it to stop
to touch your warm skin once again

i knew it was something that would end one day
but i believed that you would take flight one day

goodbye, can you hear me?
in this world on the verge of crumbling
goodbye, if you can hear me
i want you to answer, okay?

the rain is ceaseless, your breath stops
please, somehow, don’t forget

the meaning you saw in me

goodbye, can you hear me?
in this world on the verge of crumbling
goodbye, if you can hear me
i want you to answer, okay?

can we meet again someday?
when i melt into that sky
if i can meet you again

i’ll try not to cry then

In UNDERNEATH_FILES VOL. 1, Hazuki explains: “This song was made just because I wanted to leave behind proof of the life of my friend who passed away. Since by putting it onto a CD, it remains semi-permanently. It still hurts to sing it at shows, but this is a very precious song. I’m glad I wrote it.” It is likely about the same friend that quarter life is about.
