MARROW

music & lyrics / Hazuki

burning, i slide it to my lips
quickening pulse, my breath stops and i swim through hit after hit

melting marrow, the sensation sharpens
i’m dangerously high, it’s fine, let’s keep going

the limit is all too clear, but you still don’t notice
i’ll enjoy till it wears off HIGH & FUNNY

FALL / TAKE A FLYING FUCK / SHUT UP!!!!

the floating spots ascertain the beauty of my corruption
my near frozen breath glimmers with white

grasp tightly on to my hands numb with cold, don’t let go
you’re like a slight fever, i can sleep deeply and endlessly in you

the limit is all too clear, but you still don’t notice
i’ll enjoy till it wears off HIGH & FUNNY

let’s enjoy it HIGH & FUNNY

FALL / TAKE A FLYING FUCK / SHUT UP!!!!

Hazuki discusses the title in UNDERNEATH_FILES VOL. 4 as seen below, but sort of avoids explaining the topic of the lyrics in depth (aside from their tone). This song’s lyrics reminds me strongly of DEVI.

“I knew the meaning of the word [MARROW] and wrote the lyrics based on that. For whatever reason, “MARROW” seems very thick, viscous, and hot to me. Like magma… That comes out immediately in the first line of the first stanza with “burning”. And since I’m a contrarian I wrote lyrics with a very cold image in the quiet parts of the song. That’s all.”
