One of the cover songs for Hazuki’s solo album, by female pop/folk singer Cocco. “Mizukagami” is also the title of a historical Japanese folktale. Although at first blush this song seems like it could be about leaving behind a lover and reminiscing about them later, the more common interpretation seems to be that the singer is addressing herself – either some aspect of herself she wants to move on from or her past self altogether.
