lyrics & music / Hazuki
The night comes down from the sky, blackening this whole world.
It seems just like us.
Wear the darkness, sing it out… our lives.
Are you fuckin’ ready?
Wake up now, the time has come.
Give your hands to me right now.
The sun goes down, the day is over.
The night will never ever end.
The night comes down from the sky, blackening this whole world.
Into the blackest night, blackest night of all.
The night comes down from the sky, blackening this whole world.
It seems just like us.
Wear the darkness, sing it out…our lives.
why don’t we try raising that flag painted over in black we held up back then once more
our voices screaming and singing together as loud as they can
with a bond that ties us to an endless night
Are you fuckin’ ready?
Wake up now, the time has come.
Give your hands to me right now.
The sun goes down, the day is over.
The night will never ever end.
The night comes down from the sky, blackening this whole world.
Into the blackest night, blackest night of all.
The night comes down from the sky, blackening this whole world.
It seems just like us.
Wear the darkness, sing it out.
The night comes down from the sky, blackening this whole world.
Into the blackest night, blackest night of all.
The night comes down from the sky, blackening this whole world.
Into the blackest night of all.
Wear the darkness, sing it out… our lives.
From Hazuki’s August 2013 tweet about the song: “The Japanese lyrics of the C melody reference those lyrics. You already know. As always I’m singing about our bond with everyone.”
Additionally, in an interview with PLAYER On-line, Hazuki said about this song: “‘NIGHT’ depicts a pitch-black night. It’s filled with our determination to paint this music scene in our own way, and throughout the lyrics there’s the message of ‘people live the way they do precisely because death is lurking!'”
