THIS COMA

hey, it’s alright, i’ll take you in my arms and sleep a little while
i’m right beside you, even if you stay asleep like this

you overflow in my heart, i’m lost in a dream
if we can meet again, then smile just like that

[— without noticing anything
suddenly, the sun will rise]1

the sun will rise again, without noticing a thing
i’ll be here, even if you stay asleep like this

you overflow in my heart, i’m lost in a dream
if we can meet again, then smile just like that

it seems like it’ll disappear into memory if i put it into words
so i whisper, i make sure, i can’t pull away, but

i want to cry in this prismatic, wavering world
thinking of that day with the two of us

you overflow in my heart, i’m lost in a dream
if we can meet again, then smile just like that

This song’s lyrics are written from two different points of view. Hazuki explained in a tweet on January 15, 2014: “THIS COMA’s verses are basically from a man’s point of view, while the chorus is from a woman’s. I think people can probably tell from the word choices. I let the listener decide which point of view the bridge uses.☻”

1: This English verse in the original recording isn’t actually written in the lyrics. I can only make out part of it, though!
