In Zettai Onkan vol. 65, Hazuki explains this song is directed at himself at the point in his life when he was just starting up in bands, which he also sang about in en guiltly. This song is meant to draw a border between who he was then and who he was at the time he wrote this song. It’s a little funny that a 17 year old Hazuki was being so critical of his younger self, but messages to his younger, more naive self ended up being a bit of a staple in his lyrical repertoire long after this release.
