While this song is technically a cover, the original lyrics are in English and Hazuki has composed Japanese lyrics to suit this arrangement. Hazuki’s new lyrics are not a direct translation, but seem to work more as a response and a reimagination of the original message. The writer of the original lyrics was K, the front man of Pay money To my pain and a close friend of Hazuki’s who passed away in December of 2012. “BE STRONG“ and “PHOENIX” have also covered the impact of K’s passing on Hazuki.
